A graceful evergreen shrub with soft green leaves edged with a cream colour. Flower buds decorate the plant before opening into delicate cascades of small, white vase shape flowers in late winter. New growth is a vibrant pink.


Prefers a part shade position protected from the afternoon sun. Grows best in an acidic, humus rich, well-drained soil. Deadhead spent flowers directly after flowering.

Landscape Uses

Use in mixed garden plantings or as an informal hedge in semi shaded areas. Combines well with Azalea, Camellia, Hydrangea and Helleborus.
