‘Othello’ is a bold specimen perennial that forms clumps of large rounded dark green leaves with a purple underside. Tall reddish flower stems appear in summer bearing clusters of golden orange daisy like blooms. Is butterfly attracting.


Prefers a full sun to part shade position with fertile moist soil, though can tolerate wet poorly drained soils. Protect from snails and slugs. Clumps may be divided in the spring, every 3 to 4 years.
