Daphne odora x bholua 'Perfume Princess'™ pbr
Daphne ‘Perfume Princess’ is a delightful evergreen shrub, with larger, non yellowing foliage compared to other Daphne. Flowers can be four times larger than Daphne odora species and have a delicious perfume with sweet citrus undertones. Lilac buds fade to white and open all down the stem intensifying the fragrance.
Cultural
Perfume Princess Daphne are sun hardy and flower prolifically. Frost tolerant once established. CAUTION: sap is an irritant and is toxic if ingested.

Prefers a slightly acidic, well-drained soil.
Aspect:
Full sun to part shade.
Maintenance:
Prune lightly in spring, or after flowering, to maintain shape and remove any damaged stems. Apply slow-release fertiliser, ideally Daphne specific, in early autumn and spring to promote healthy growth and flowering.
Water Requirements:
Moderately drought tolerant once established but will benefit from supplementary watering. Will not tolerate waterlogged soil. .
Seasonal Interest:
Winter to spring flowering.
Landscape Uses
Makes a stunning low perfumed hedge or border for small gardens, patios and courtyards. Underplant beneath open tree canopies or plant in containers.
