Pyrus communis 'Beurre Bosc' Espalier
A popular pear variety known for its distinctive elongated shape, rusted brown skin, and sweet, aromatic flavour. The flesh is creamy, smooth, and juicy, making it ideal for fresh eating, baking, and poaching. In spring, the tree is covered with clusters of delicate white blossoms. Harvest pears in mid-autumn when they are firm but mature. They often require ripening off the tree for the best flavour.
