‘Snowball‘ is a striking, clump-forming perennial with lush, strappy green foliage. In summer, it produces rounded clusters of pure white, trumpet-shaped flowers held on sturdy, upright stems above the compact foliage. Its elegant blooms contrast beautifully with the deep green leaves.

Cultural

Agapanthus can be described as ‘bulletproof’ - they are extremely hardy and will grow in most soil types and situations.
Soil:
Tolerates any well-drained soil, suitable for poor soils.
Aspect:
Full sun.
Maintenance:
Remove spent flower stems to promote continuous blooms. Though they can survive on very little care, fertilising in spring will improve vigour. Young plants can be susceptible to snail and slug predation, apply baits as required.
Water Requirements:
Drought tolerant once established. Will benefit from occasional, deep watering during extended dry periods.
Seasonal Interest:
Summer flowering.

Landscape Uses

Ideal as a border plant or for edging walkways and driveways with its striking foliage and blooms, Agapanthus thrives in containers, making it a popular choice for patio gardens and balconies. Its versatility also extends to mass plantings in garden beds, where it creates stunning displays of colour and texture.
