Ficus hillii Flash
A compact growing form of Ficus hillii with emerald green foliage and lighter green new growth. A large tree if untrimmed. Flowers are insignificant.
Prefers a moist well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position, but will survive well in conditions that are less than favourable. Requires protection from frost when young. For best results fertilise with a long term slow release fertilizer in early Spring. Prune to shape when required. Will perform well in Melbourne.
Perfect plant for hedging around pools or formal gardens. Topiary standards and cones can be grown in pots if kept clipped.
