Loropetalum chinense 'Plum Gorgeous' pbr
Evergreen small shrub. Deep purple foliage, the darkest color of all of the Loropetalums. Showy display of vivid hot pink, tasselled flowers during Spring and Autumn. Maintains a naturally dense, domed habit.
Cultural
Easy to grow, hardy shrub with minimal maintenance required. Grows well in most soils with good drainage. Once established, minimal water is required; perhaps just a little during very warm periods over Summer. Apply a slow release fertiliser after flowering for best results.
Landscape Uses
Stunning feature plant in landscapes providing both structure and color all year round. Informal, low hedging or mass planting in larger areas. The deep purple color foliage contrasts well with the golden reds and fine foliage of Nandina Moonbay.
