A compact growing mandarin with lovely dark green foliage, featuring fruit with a low seed count and easy-to-peel.
Grow in a warm, full sun position in well drained rich soil. Mandarins are susceptible to attack from citrus pests like leaf miner and scale. Use appropriate treatment if detected. Prevent pest attack by growing in ideal conditions. Fertilise in Spring and Summer with a high nitrogen fertiliser. If using granulated citrus food, be careful not to over-fertilise, as burning of foliage may occur.
A nice compact grower which lends itself to growing in pots. A prolific fruiter, so place it near the house for easy harvest. Little pruning is required to maintain a nice compact shape.
