Acacia can be short-lived, usually lasting ten to fifteen years.
Soil:
Tolerates any well-drained soil, ideal for poor soils.

Maintenance:
Can be pruned lightly after flowering to enhance shape. Avoid heavy pruning. Apply a native fertiliser in spring if the plant lacks vigour.
Water Requirements:
Will not tolerate waterlogged soil. Drought tolerant once established.

Spring flowering.

Is fantastic as an informal screen or as a feature plant, the beautiful weeping foliage makes it effective in most garden styles. Is an ideal background plant for modern Australian native gardens. Blends beautifully with Banksia praemorsa, Elaeocarpus reticulatus and Agonis ‘Burgundy‘. Underplant with new varieties of Lomandra and Dianella.
