Requires deep moist fertile soils with protection from wind. Thrives in full sun or semi shade. Very little pruning is needed.
Landscape Uses
Maples look stunning in Japanese gardens when planted with Pieris, Azaleas and Hosta. They make lovely container specimens and look fantastic when planted in groups adding contrast in colour to green foliaged planting.
