A hardy shade loving Azalea which features masses of purple-magenta, semi-double blooms from late autumn through to spring.

Cultural

Prune after flowering to maintain a compact shape, mulch well during extended dry periods and fertilise with an Azalea specific or a complete organic fertiliser in spring and late summer. If flowers are becoming mushy this might be a sign of petal blight, pick off and dispose of then treat with appropriate fungicides. Azaleas are also susceptible to insect attack treat with appropriate pesticides.

Landscape Uses

Perfect for formal gardens, is a lovely container flowering specimen and can be brought indoors for short periods to enjoy the display. Works well as a flowering border and planted with other traditional favourites such as Camellias and Magnolias.
