Hydrangeas are a timeless, traditional favourite, these deciduous shrubs dazzle with flower colours of blue, white, red, pink or purple. Cultural

Tea Time Hydrangeas can repeat flower if cut back after first bloom. Protect from harsh sun and strong winds. Will maintain their colour regardless of soil pH. CAUTION: harmful to pets if ingested, can be a skin allergen in humans. Hydrangea Care & Maintenance
Soil:
Prefers a fertile, well-drained soil.
Aspect:
Part shade.
Maintenance:
Cut back after flowering to maintain shape and size, can be pruned quite hard. For optimal growth, apply a slow-release fertiliser in late spring. Will benefit from an annual application of mulch. Susceptible to powdery mildew, mites and aphids- treat accordingly.
Water Requirements:
Keep moist in the warmer months, water sparingly in winter.
