One our most popular varieties, Paradise Blush’s deep, rose-pink buds open to small, white semi-double flowers with the reverse petals shaded pink. It is perfect for bringing colour into garden all through Autumn and into Winter and can take many different forms in your landscape.

Cultural

Sasanquas love to grow in a warm full sun to partly shaded position. Prune after flowering and in Summer to maintain a compact shape, will handle a hard prune, if you need to reshape. Though they prefer slightly acid soil, sasanquas will grow in most soil types, when it is well drained. When mature they are quite drought tolerant. Fertilise in late Spring and Summer with a specific Camellia fertiliser or a complete organic fertiliser.

Landscape Uses

One of the most versatile plants you can use in the garden. Paradise blush has a loose form when a single plant, Ideal for espaliers, standards and topiary, however when planted together they will work themselves into a great hedge, perfect as a screen from the neighbours or a north wind. It will also hold its own in a flower garden as a feature tree.
