Sasanquas are a traditional favourite sure to add elegance to any garden, their gorgeous flowers are on display from autumn to winter and come in different shades of white, pink or red. We grow a varied and changing range of Camellia sasanqua trellis.
Cultural
Sasanquas love to grow in a warm full sun to partly shaded position. Prune after flowering and in summer to maintain a compact shape. Once established sasanquas will grow in most soil types, however, they prefer a well-drained slightly acidic soil. Once established they are quite drought tolerant. Fertilise in late spring and summer with a specific Camellia fertiliser or a complete organic fertiliser.
Landscape Uses
Trellised plants are the perfect solution for small courtyards, balconies and narrow garden beds that share a border with a wall or fence. They also work great for narrow screening or to decorate an unsightly wall or fence.

Once planted they can be kept to 2.0m high x 2.0m wide, or left to grow up to 3.0m high x 3.0m wide.
