A deciduous shrub known for its billowy, spherical flower heads that grow to 30cm in diameter. ‘Annabelle‘ flowers prolifically from summer to autumn, with the blooms maturing from a light green to a crisp white before fading again to green. The striking flower heads contrast beautifully with its dark green, oval-shaped leaves. Warners have dedicated decades to growing and perfecting the best selection of Hydrangeas, ensuring you receive the finest and most vibrant varieties to enhance your garden.

Cultural

Hydrangea ‘Annabelle‘ should be protected from harsh sun and strong winds. White Hydrangeas will maintain their colour regardless of soil Ph. CAUTION: harmful to pets if ingested, can be a skin allergen in humans. Hydrangea Care & Maintenance
Soil:
Prefers a fertile, well-drained soil.

Cut back after flowering to maintain shape and size. Hard pruning will result in larger flowers the following year, lighter pruning will produce more flowers but of a smaller size. For optimal growth, apply a slow-release fertiliser in late spring. Will benefit from an annual application of mulch.
Water Requirements:
Keep moist in the warmer months, water sparingly in winter. Will not tolerate waterlogged soil.
Seasonal Interest:
Spring to autumn flowering.

Landscape Uses

Hydrangeas, with their large, showy blooms, make stunning focal points in garden beds and borders. Compact varieties thrive in large pots, making them perfect for adding beauty to patios, balconies, or courtyards. Their long-lasting, vibrant flowers are ideal for cutting and displaying indoors, and they are especially popular for wedding displays and floral arrangements. Perfect for both cottage and formal gardens, Hydrangeas pair beautifully with other traditional favourites like Camellias, Magnolias, and Azaleas.
