An ornamental, evergreen, compact shrub known for its striking silver white, intricately tangled stems and foliage. It produces small, inconspicuous yellow flower heads, but its real appeal is the shimmering, spherical form and unique texture. Outstanding when planted en masse for architectural impact.

Leucophyta brownii is highly tolerant of exposed coastal conditions and thrives in harsh environments. It withstands salt spray, strong winds and frost.
