Euphorbia wulfenii
Also known as Mediterranean spurge, this is a tough plant that provide architectural stems topped with soft blue/grey foliage all year round and lime green, contrasting flowers from late Winter into Spring.
Cultural
Plant wulfenii in full sun, with well-drained soil and while generally hardy it doesn’t do well in humidity. Remove spent flowers at base to prevent self-sowing, leave the other stems as it flowers on second year growth. Euphorbia sap is a known irritant, use protection when cutting.
Landscape Uses
Great for Mediterranean style gardens, in rockeries or other low water style gardens. Euphorbia wulfenii would also work well as a border planting.
