Thuja occidentalis 'Smaragd'
A compact dense conifer with bright green foliage and a neat, low maintenance habit.
Cultural
Conifers prefer an open, sunny position in a moist, well drained soil but will tolerate a wide range of soils and conditions. Once established they are very hardy and some varieties will make a good windbreak. For best results fertilise with a long term slow release fertiliser in early Spring, and trim to shape when required.
Landscape Uses
Useful screen or feature plant and will grow well in containers.
