Euphorbia characias 'Silver Swan' pbr
A striking foliage plant, the ‘Silver Swan‘ has a neatly mounded growth habit with spectacular grey-green leaves trimmed in silver. Flowers are on display in late winter to early spring.
Cultural
Protect from strong winds and afternoon sun in hotter climates. CAUTION: wear gloves when handling, the milky sap is toxic and can irritate skin and eyes.
Soil:
Tolerates any well-drained soil, suitable for poor soil.
Aspect:
Full sun to part shade.
Maintenance:
After flowering, cut spent flower stems right to the base to maintain appearance and encourage new growth. Apply a slow-release fertiliser in spring to promote healthy growth.
Water Requirements:
Drought tolerant once established but will benefit from supplementary watering. Will not tolerate waterlogged soil.
Seasonal Interest:
Late winter to spring flowering, year round foliage interest.

A great foliage plant which works well as a bordering or accent plant, would be a stunning addition to any gravel garden or rockery. A great choice for Mediterranean style gardens and works wonderfully planted with Rosemary, Olive and Citrus.
