Azalea 'Kirin'
One of the most popular Kurume varieties, ‘Kirin‘ is a compact, evergreen shrub with a profusion of small, single, light pink blooms that adorn the plant in spring. These delicate flowers contrast beautifully against the backdrop of fine, dark green glossy foliage.

Prefers a fertile, slightly acidic, well-drained soil.

                                    Part shade.

If flowers become mushy, it might be a sign of petal blight; remove and dispose of affected flowers, treat with appropriate fungicides and avoid overhead watering. They complement other Japanese-style plants such as Acer, Camellia, Pieris, and Ophiopogon.
