Azalea 'White Dragon'
A classic Kurume variety, ‘White Dragon‘ is compact in habit, adorned with a profusion of small white flowers that are on display in spring and again through autumn and winter. These charming blooms contrast beautifully against the backdrop of fine, dark green glossy foliage.

A shade-loving Azalea, protect from harsh sunlight.
Soil:
Prefers a fertile, slightly acidic, well-drained soil.

Maintenance:
Prune after flowering to maintain compact shape. Apply an Azalea-specific fertiliser in spring and late summer. Will benefit from a yearly application of mulch. If flowers become mushy, it might be a sign of petal blight; remove and dispose of affected flowers, treat with appropriate fungicides and avoid overhead watering. Susceptible to insect attacks, such as aphids and mite- treat accordingly.
Water Requirements:
Will not tolerate extended dry periods, ensure adequate watering.
Seasonal Interest:
Autumn to spring flowering.
Landscape Uses
An excellent choice for formal gardens, shaded garden beds, and beneath trees where it flourishes in filtered sunlight. It also excels as a container plant on shaded patios or balconies. Azaleas works beautifully as a flowering border plant and complement other traditional favourites such as Camellias and Magnolias.
