Liriope muscari 'Emerald Cascade' pbr
‘Emerald Cascade’ is a very tough plant that also delivers on looks. It has spectacular emerald-green weeping foliage that planted en masse is sure to stun. During spring and summer its glossy green foliage is contrasted with cobalt blue berries.
Cultural
Prefers a well-drained soil in a sunny to shaded position. Tolerates frost or coastal conditions. Cut old foliage down to the ground in winter to promote fresh new leaves in spring. Is susceptible to small grubs or snails.
Landscape Uses
Widely used in landscaping Liriope are an ideal ground cover and border plant, smaller varieties are also perfect for planting between pavers. They are also great for underplanting and look fantastic with other glossy leaf plants such as Gardenia florida and Helleborous varieties. Will grow great in planters indoors.
