Teucrium fruticans Ball
Teucrium fruticans, commonly known as Bush Germander, is a hardy evergreen shrub with a soft, silvery-grey appearance. Its small, aromatic leaves are grey-green on top with a silvery underside, creating a luminous effect in the landscape. From late spring through summer, it produces delicate pale blue to violet-blue flowers that contrast beautifully with the foliage.
Cultural
Teucrium fruticans is tolerant of coastal conditions, light frost, and reflective heat. Can tolerate part shade but performs better in full sun.

Tolerates any well-drained soil, suitable for poor soils.

Maintenance:
Prune regularly when young to encourage compact, bushy growth. Prune as required throughout the year to maintain size and shape. Apply a slow release fertiliser after flowering to promote healthy growth.
Water Requirements:
Drought tolerant once established. Will benefit from occasional, deep watering during extended dry periods. Will not tolerate waterlogged soil.
