Persicaria affinis 'Dimity'
Hardy effective perennial groundcover with the benefit of showy year round colour. Soft pink flower panicles age to deep red on red stems. Foliage changes in autumn from deep green to bronze red and will form a dense matt over time.
Cultural
Will grow in full sun to part shade in humus rich, well drained soil. Once established is quite a vigorous grower and requires minimal watering. Remove old flower stems late in winter.
Landscape Uses
Great as a groundcover or border plant for walkways. Plant in informal rockeries, and can be grown in pots.
