Commonly known as the maidenhair tree, ‘Lemonlime Spire‘ is a columnar cultivar that features distinctive lobed foliage. Its bright lime-green summer leaves turn a glowing lemon-yellow in autumn. Steeped in cultural history, the Ginkgo is one of the oldest species of trees on the planet and is often referred to as a "living fossil," with some living samples over 2500 years old.

Ginkgo‘s can tolerate light shade but performs better in full sun. Tolerant of frost, wind, and pollution. ‘Lemonlime Spire‘ is a male clone that won‘t produce fruit.

Maintenance:
Requires minimal pruning however dead, damaged, or poorly positioned branches can be removed in late winter or early spring. Apply a slow-release fertiliser in spring if plants lacks vigour. Will benefit from an annual application of mulch in spring.
