Arthropodium cirratum 'Te Puna'
A compact form of New Zealand Rock Lily, ‘Te Puna‘ forms clumps of strappy, arching leaves that create a lush and textured appearance. In late spring to early summer, ‘Te Puna‘ produces slender stems adorned with clusters of small, star-shaped white flowers with a hint of pale blue or lavender at the centre.

Arthropodium are adaptable to a range of conditions but are frost sensitive.

Tolerates any well-drained soil.
Aspect:
Full sun to shade.
Maintenance:
Remove old leaves and spent flowers to maintain tidy appearance. Can be divided in late winter or early spring if clumps become too large. Apply a slow-release fertiliser in spring to promote healthy growth. Will benefit from a yearly application of mulch. Susceptible to snail and slug predation, apply baits as required.
Water Requirements:
Drought tolerant once established.
Seasonal Interest:
Late spring to early summer flowering.
Landscape Uses
Ideal for low maintenance areas, containers, small gardens, edging along pathways, paving or retainer walls. Great for those tricky dry, shaded areas like under trees.
