Sarcococca confusa

Cultural
                            Sarcoccoca confusa can tolerate sunnier positions if soil is kept moist. Will cope with dry shade and neglect.

                                    Prefers a fertile, well-drained soil.                            
        Aspect:
            
                                    Part shade to full shade.                            
        Maintenance:
            
                                    Prune in spring to maintain size. Apply a general fertiliser in spring if plant lacks vigour. Will benefit from a yearly application of mulch.                            
        Water Requirements:
            
                                    Will tolerate dry periods once established but performs better with adequate moisture.

                            Sarcocca confusa works great as a border plant or within a garden be.  Perfect for low clipped hedges and mass planting clipped swales in shaded areas.
