An ornamental, evergreen shrub producing clusters of tiny, deep blue to indigo flowers on tall stems. Best planted en masse for maximum impact.

Cultural

Limonium can flower intermittently throughout the year. Tolerates frost and salt spray.
Soil:
Tolerates any well-drained soil, suitable for poor soil.
Aspect:
Full sun.
Maintenance:
Remove old leaves and spent flowers to maintain tidy appearance and promote continual blooms. Apply a general fertiliser in spring to promote healthy growth. Divide clumps every few years in spring to maintain vigour.
Water Requirements:
Drought tolerant once established. Will not tolerate waterlogged soil.
Seasonal Interest:
Intermittent flowering year-round.

Landscape Uses
