A highly sought after Echinacea known for its long, purple-pink petals that drape gracefully around a large central cone. An excellent choice for attracting pollinators, such as bees and butterflies, to the garden.

Cultural

Echinacea pallida performs well in dry conditions. Leave seed heads intact to provide food for birds in winter. Tolerant of frost.
Soil:
Tolerates any well-drained soil.
Aspect:
Full sun to part shade.
Maintenance:
Deadhead regularly to encourage continual flowering. Cut the plant back to the ground in late winter or early spring. Apply a general fertiliser in spring and late summer to promote healthy growth. Will benefit from annual application of compost in spring.
Water Requirements:
Drought tolerant once established but will benefit from supplementary watering.
Seasonal Interest:
Summer flowering.
