With lovely clean strong foliage, this small growing variety features mid pink flower spikes in Spring.

Cultural

Easily grown in well drained soil in a sunny or semi shaded position. Tolerates frost or coastal conditions. Protect plants from small grubs or snails. If foliage is looking tired cut back hard in late winter.
Soil:
Prefers a fertile, well-drained soil but can tolerate poorer soils.
Aspect:
Full sun to part shade.
Maintenance:
To promote fresh new leaves in spring, cut old foliage down close to the base in winter. Can be divided in late winter or early spring. Light feeders, apply a small amount of slow-release fertiliser in spring. Will benefit from a yearly application of mulch. Susceptible to snail and slug predation, apply baits as required.
Water Requirements:
Drought tolerant once established but will benefit from supplementary watering.
Seasonal Interest:
Late summer to autumn flowering.
