An attractive, sprawling groundcover, Dichondra argentea ‘Silver Falls‘ features cascading stems with small, round, silver-grey leaves. The foliage has a soft, velvety texture, giving it a striking appearance.

Cultural

Dichondra ‘Silver Falls‘ has better colour in sunny positions and can tolerate radiant heat. Will tolerate light frost once established.
Soil:
Tolerates any well-drained soil.
Aspect:
Full sun to part shade.
Maintenance:
Prune any time of year to maintain size if required. Apply fertiliser in spring to promote healthy growth.
Water Requirements:
Moderately drought tolerant once established but will benefit from supplementary watering. Will not tolerate waterlogged soil. .
Seasonal Interest:
Year round foliage interest.

Landscape Uses

It‘s sprawling cascading nature makes it ideal for borders on walls and steep banks, between pavers and in rockeries. Grows well in pots and makes great hanging baskets.
