Magnolia grandiflora 'Sweet Carolina' pbr
A superbly handsome evergreen tree with feature foliage maturing from light new burgundy growth in spring to glossy dark green with velvet copper undersides. It’s heavily perfumed white flowers bloom from spring to summer and can grow to 25cm in diameter.
Cultural
Grows best in any well drained soil, in full sun to partial shade. Minimal water required once established and frost tolerant. Relatively insect and disease free. Mulch to keep roots cool and moist and give a weekly soak in prolonged dry weather. Prune and fertilize in spring.

Ideal specimen tree and magnificent as a large evergreen screen or beautiful trimmed flowering hedge.
