‘Blush Pink’ is the first pink flowering Agapanthus available in Australia. It is a medium sized variety, forming neat clumps of elegant green foliage. In summer it is adorned with white centred flowers flushed with pink over an extended season.

Cultural

Agapanthus can be described as 'bulletproof' - they are extremely hardy and will grow in most soil types and conditions.
Soil:
Tolerates any well-drained soil, suitable for poor soils.
Aspect:
Full sun.
Maintenance:
Remove spent flower stems to promote continuous blooms. Though they can survive on very little care, fertilising in spring will improve vigour. Young plants can be susceptible to snail and slug predation, apply baits as required.
Water Requirements:
Drought tolerant once established. Will benefit from occasional, deep watering during extended dry periods.
Seasonal Interest:
Summer flowering.

Landscape Uses

Ideal as a border plant for edging pathways or planted amongst other flowering perennials. Its extreme hardiness makes it a reliable performer every year, and it won't be outcompeted in a densely planted garden bed. Agapanthuses thrive in container plantings, making it a popular choice for patio gardens and balconies. The pink and white blooms can be utilised in colour palettes where a cool blue may feel out of place.
