Callistemon 'Kings Park Special'
One of the better cultivars of Callistemon with a lightly weeping habit. They produce masses of bright red bottlebrush flowers in spring and summer that are fantastic for attracting birds to the garden.

Callistemon are generally low-maintenance and can tolerate light frost once established.

Tolerates any soil, suitable for poor soils.

Maintenance:
Responds well to pruning. Prune after flowering, typically late spring or early summer, to maintain size and shape. Apply a native fertiliser in spring to promote healthy growth.

Drought tolerant once established, can tolerate extended wet periods.

Spring and autumn flowering.
Landscape Uses
This versatile native plant is ideal for screening or can be left to grow as a small tree. It is tolerant of most conditions once established and so is useful for commercial sites and is well suited to the home garden.
