Rosmarinus officinalis 'Chefs Choice'
An evergreen, low growing shrub with an abundance of purple-blue flowers in Summer. Suitable as a garden plant; the highly aromatic green-silver foliage cascades over pot edge and is pleasing to the eye.
Cultural
Rosemary can tolerate partial shade but performs better in full sun. Frost tolerant once established and suitable for coastal conditions. Doesnât respond well to humidity and poor air circulation.

Tolerates any well drained soil, suitable for poor soils.

Maintenance:
Prune lightly after flowering to maintain size and shape and to remove any dead stems. Rosemary has low-nutrient requirements but, if plants lack vigour apply a slow-release fertiliser in spring.
Water Requirements:
Drought tolerant once established. Will not tolerate wet soil.
Seasonal Interest:
Spring to summer flowering, year round foliage interest.
Landscape Uses
The lovely compact growth and fine dark green foliage is one of the most stunning Rosemary cultivars. Keep in pots next the BBQ or planted in a kitchen garden where leaves can be used to flavour an array of dishes. Can be clipped into hedges or blocks in formal style gardens. Create a provincial French style Mediterranean gardens when planted with Cupressus Glauca, Lavender, Rhaphiolepis and Citrus.
