Ceratostigma griffithii
A hardy attractive shrub which forms mounds of densely massed spreading stems carrying matt green leaves with purple tinged edges. Masses of blue flowers cover the shrub from summer to mid-autumn. Griffithii is more ‘Wirey‘ than Ceratostigma plumabginoides with smaller leaves.

A low maintenance plant that is generally trouble free in the right location.

Tolerates any well-drained soil.

Full sun to part shade.
Maintenance:
Prune after flowering to maintain size and shape. Not heavy feeders but an organic fertiliser can be applied in spring if the plant lacks vigour.

Drought tolerant once established.

Summer and autumn flowering, autumn foliage colour.
Landscape Uses
This low growing evergreen shrub is ideal for rockeries and perennial borders. Most effective when mass planted as a dense garden bed filler.
