Leucadendron salignum x laureolum 'Safari Sunset'
This fast-growing, upright, low maintenance plant will add colour to the garden in the cooler months with Summer Sunset’s red bracts on full show over Autumn and Winter, muting to a creamy colour for Spring.
Cultural
Plant in full sun (for the best colour), in well-draining, acidic soil, tolerates poor soil well. Drought hardy when established but do not handle humidity. Prune back to new growth to keep low or as required for shape.
Landscape Uses
Safari Sunset can be used as a stunning hedge, a feature tree or in amongst a low water planting. Perfect for a cut flower garden bed.
