Cultural
Acacia can be short-lived, usually lasting ten to fifteen years.

Tolerates any well-drained soil, ideal for poor soils.
Aspect:
Full sun to part shade.
Maintenance:
Can be pruned lightly in spring to enhance shape. Avoid heavy pruning. Apply a native fertiliser in spring if the plant lacks vigour.

Will not tolerate waterlogged soil. Drought tolerant once established.

Ideal for screening or narrow spaces, the beautiful weeping foliage makes it effective in most garden styles. Is an ideal background plant for modern Australian native gardens. Blends beautifully with Banksia praemorsa, Elaeocarpus reticulatus and Agonis ‘Burgundy‘. Underplant with new varieties of Lomandra and Dianella.
